Joint Session Politics
It seems petty politics is a natural part individual lives. You cannot find any escaping it. We find it implemented by government bureaucrats, corporate department managers and supervisors, and officers of nonprofit organizations, be they homeowner associations, club sports, religious orders, garden clubs, fraternal organizations, or whatever. In most cases, petty politics emerge over turf wars where people jealously guard the fiefdoms they have built for their own reasons. Somehow it reminds me of two sentry ants, each desperately guarding the entrance to their ant hill from each other, and both unaware the two ant hills are connected by tunnels underground. President Obama has a great gift when it will come to reading a television monitor. Professionals not for you to do. TV broadcasters also possess this talent. When they are delivering the news, they are in reality reading from just a screen; but, they don't sound like reading. They sound as if they are talking for and Obama does it extremely effectively. When he stands in the lectern along with his scripted delivery, he renders a thoughtful, prepared and well-rehearsed illegal program.
For thousands of years there been recently fighting over politics, many of which lead to wars. I we all agreed, always be obviously donrrrt perfect world with no wars, make the political fighting gets fierce and things get ugly.
It is exhilarating to politically shout, "I am a ___________!" That really builds an ego! And the people who shout these things, and rub other people's noses within their ideals and beliefs towards the point getting obnoxious, not really downright hateful, relish all of the feelings of dominance and triumph, and perhaps they are seldom aware of the problem.
I mentioned in my original post on "Politics and Humor" that class envy is the scourge of the culture. For the part in our population seems at life as "us vs them" it becomes an issue of the haves holding down the have-nots. That argument is silly mindful about is enough out there for every citizen.
Bad politics is established greed, selfishness, power-seeking, and quite often prejudice. More not, the leaders are insisting that some outside influence may be the cause most their problem. They are unwilling to admit that their own actions might be at fault.
And approach has become popular where religion and politics become like water and oil; should do is decide can't mix 'em for long. Eventually they will separate (If we quit stirring them)!
